We Got Down With The Sickness

For crying out loud when will it stop. So about a week and a half ago my son came down with the pink which is just dreadful because he alway gets it really bad. so to the doctor we go and no school for him. that was two fridays ago. that following monday my precious baby girl comes down with a flu and just when im bragging to the nurse about my kids never getting ear infections, she smerks and says "really cause she has a slight ear infection." WHAT EVER. So i looked like a fool cause i deny there might be and infection and because my poor baby did have one and i didnt even know. Considering she never complained how could I. So we spend a long week at home bubba only missed two days of school and heads back to finish the week. Little did i know come the most lovely days of all bubba gets the pink eye again and comes down with fever. Yes we usually deal with the pink eye twice before it leaves our house and thats because my husband installed one of those antibacterial ointment dispensers right in our living room. Could he have put it else where yes, but he didnt. so anyway the dr prescribes him something over the phone and we basically spend the whole weekend at home. Not to mention mikey and i both come down with something like a cold. So no our valentines day was full of medications and plenty of fluids. not to mention the constant flow of mucus between the the four of us. so today i take my baby boy in because he starts to look pale with a red shiny nose. Dr confirms the flu and also adds that he also has an ear infection. i was always told that if you nurse your children as infants that they have a lesser chance of getting an ear infection. well zeke is four and this is his first i would say that is pretty good. Now we are out of school till thursday of course pending that the fever goes away. Did i say we only were knocking buggers for VDay and thats about it. Any way we have been dealing with the sickness and im ready for it to be over. its the most helpless time in a mothers life when you really cant do anything for your kids they just kinda got to wait till their little bodies heal.
