BUSY LIFE

Man how crazy this year has been!!! february came and went and we had a great time through it all. in the first week of feb my cousin jenna and i started our new weekly outing of bingo night. which is great we have fun talking and trying to keep up with 18 boards fun times we always make lame jokes to the people at the desk selling the cards and they never laugh. that makes us laugh even more, great time at the bingo peoples expense. oh i must mention that my cousin won three times in a row!!! My wonderful most courageous son had storybook day at school and he was determined to dress up as superman. i gave him the idea of it being homemade with a pair of red undies over some pjs. he went for it and i was so proud of him that he was not embarrassed to be his self at school. he even made me put gel in his hair and make a curl over his forehead though it ended up being just a straight piece of hair he still was as cute as ever. my baby is growing so fast. the first weekend we spent a a baby shower for my sis in law and hanging with my cousins at BWW. the shower was nice cuz i love being able to see my family its funny though that the only time we see each other is at functions! i remember when we use to actually take the time to visit each other and now it seems as though time just flies by and theres never anytime!!! Buffalo WILD Wing was fun i spent more money than i wanted to on drinks $6 a drink get serious i think i had like six and the smallest one was the one that gave me the buzz "martini" but i will never order that again cuz i drank it way to fast and ended up spending double just to put another drink in my hand. the next weekend was my cousin michaels wedding, though my hubby and i were awkwardly there we still managed to have a good time. it was nothing that wine and amaretto couldnt fix and boy did it ever. me and my sister spent the night dancing with the bride. it was alot easier for me to pop it out there with out the extra 40lbs. the next weekend my beautiful niece liena was born. hairy lil thing but thats something that was destined with a hairy father and grandfather. such a beautiful blessing she is and for all the many things we did in feb yleina was first day in this world was the only moment i caught on film!!! (or sd card) i have to admit that feb was full of alot of drunken weekends. its crazy that when i was younger i could care less about drinking but nowadays i feel like i need few just to relax from the weekly stresses. one saturday we even did karaoke without the machine yes i serenaded my family while enjoying some shots of butterscotch schnapps. YES singing brings back lots of memories for me. i remember being in elementary riding the bus home and singing la bamba with my cousins on the bus kind of a mexican version of the brady bunch!!! oh i remember those days we thing were easy, they were only easy cuz reality hadnt set in. Now responsibility is our name and we live by that everyday thanks to god. i cant believe i included drunken weekends, childhood memories, responsibility and god all in one blog!!! THIS IS MY LIFE!!!

SNOW DAY!!!

WHY do kids wake up early on a snow day, i wouldve given anything as a kid to sleep in. but nope not my kiddos zeke was up before my hubby left and alex work up shortly after. too bad no one wanted to sleep in i was so game for it. so we were up on this wonderful snowday at 630. yes they wanted food. sausage was pretty much all we had that was semi breakfast. then i made them dress up with like two layers of clothes plus long johns and we braved the cold weather out side. they are so silly but they only lasted in five minute intervals coming back inside just to warm up their rosy cheeks. i remember spending the whole day out in the snow. my poor babies made snow anges and then ran inside to warm their buns. my zeke for some reason wanted to throw the snow right in alexs face she wasnt havin so i had to takle him a couple of times for her. do you remember ever eatin the snow look at this boy life if hes never seen a dog pee outside what is he thinkin. im pretty sure it was fresh snow!!!! hopefully. fun time in the snow but i think we'll wait a little bit before sneaking back out into the snow to make a snowman. cuz if we do it now ill be rolling those snow balls all alone. ill just wait till they are maybe five years older then maybe they can handle they cold. i love my lil snow bunnies, so for now i'll just cherish the momments of cuddling up with them!!!

FUNTAGIOUS WINTER!!!

WOW!!! its really been a long time since i blogged so here i go!!! October..... my baby girls 2nd birthday and halloween we had such a great time. everyone was dressed up in cool costumes. we decorated the house up and down cheap was the theme so yes i used trash bags for curtains. WHY? because they are cute and already on stock here in the lecroy casa. So we played plenty of games ate lots of good finger foods, opened presents and almost forgot to sing happy birthday. i think i kinda threw alex on top of the table and started singin on my own to her. whats a birthday party without singing happy birthday!!!. she got lots of presents, dress up clothes and plenty of lip gloss to last a year!! funny thing it didnt she managed to use it all up before christmas!!!

November.....we took a short trip to dallas to have thanksgiving with mikeys family, uncle kenny even came down from lousiana. it was only the weekend but we managed to do alot. Friday we started off by hanging out at elizabeths house and drinkin!!! FUN but a little too much to drink i think i fell into bed that night!!!lol good times. the next day we went down town grapevine, the mall, and to eat at kurts work twisted root burger. DELISH food there, veryy fun environment. Sunday we did our lecroy thanksgiving and stuffed our faces more than once!!! then mikey and i went to see "NEW MOON" it was great and the theater was awesome 60 ft wide. when we came home we celebrated my dads birthday at pizza hut. and the whole familia came to my house for thanksgiving dinner more deliscious food and fun company. We did a little shopping on black friday but not so much that we were broke. we put up our christmas tree early this year cuz we had bought all new stuff last year at hobby lobby half price and were anxious to see what it all was gonna look like. i loved it was beautiful the first time i had a multi color tree!!!

DECEMBER>>>> what a busy month this was for us as we begin full force planning are christmas party. we started off by meeting at my grandmothers grave site. yet that event didnt go as planned she was still remembered and prayed for. they a couple of weeks into dec we had the rosary, it was great big turn out wonderful prayer and great time with family with lots of food. then we all came together for a mass and celebrated one more time in grandmothers memory. christmas was a blast the kids got everything they asked for and more. which im starting to think that we over do it on presents they dont even play with most of the stuff. i think now possibly next year it would be best if we stick to 3 or 4 nice presents instead of a lot of junk!!! i dont know it the kids will agree but someday they will. we started christmas eve with my mom and dad at their casa doin our own thing then joined the landin crew for a bit, only to return back to my mommas for some more fun. christmas day was so busy kids opened santa presents zeke got a wii alex got a karaoke machine, which the cd player didnt work and we had to ask santa if we could return it. he said yes we should try best buy!!! she ended up getting a leapster. then by 930 we went to nana for breakfast and to open more presents. i loves her peppered bacon deliscious. then we headed to prepare for the cruz party decorating and setting up. when the party started i was already exhausted. but everything went well. the games were fun everyone participated which always makes for good laughn. family was the theme and we sure did have a great time with everyone but boy was i tired my feet hurt so bad i couldnt sleep that night. but the satisfaction of knowing we dont have to plan again for 8 years was enough to ease my pain!!!!
