two weeks till schools out

so im getting ready to start my sons first official summer. hes had a great year and one heck of a teacher. she has helped teach him so much. now i hope this summer is a great one and my son is able to remember everthing that he has learned this year. god they really expect alot out of kids these days. four years old and they already go him working on a computer in class. i dont think i used a computer atleast untill i could read. so to the wonderful year that my son had in pre kindergarten. his first party was a halloween hoe down that was really fun and cute. then they had their pilgrim feist, christmas party, valentines day party, easter party and now the end of school party. in between the teacher managed to teach the kids the abc in upper and lower case, how to count to 100(we're still working on that) and how to right their name. dont get me wrong my kid has learned a lot more, there is just too much to name it all. so the beginning of the year i was really sad about leaving my son with a stranger, but ive learned to let go a little bit. i fear the next school year will still be hard for me to let go, cuz he will be going all day. hes my baby and dont know how any mother does it. the world can really mess a kid up and i dont want that for my son. i pray that my morals stick with him and he remembers them as he grows older cuz the time is going by so fast i dont want him to think he has to grow up fast too..... this summer should be a great one and i hope that we get to spend a lot of family time together. So heres to the hot sun, swimming pools and ice cold margaritas!!!!!!!!!!!
